Registered Early Childhood Educators-Relief*


Child Care Workers-Relief*

York Region - Keswick, ON

*Hours are not guaranteed, the candidate will be required to work split shift, and be available for longer days during school holidays and summer.



We have multiple positions available for a number of Relief Early Childhood Educators and child care workers located in Keswick, ON. The successful candidate will plan and implement age appropriate, creative programs for school age children, which meet the needs of children, including children with special needs. The successful candidate has the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, and has effective interpersonal and communication skills. This position includes some light housekeeping duties. The position will require staff to work split shifts and must have availability to work longer days during school holidays and summer.



o An Early Childhood Education Diploma for Relief ECE

o Current membership and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Education for relief RECE

o Minimum of six months related experience

o Grade Twelve Diploma with some experience in child care setting for Relief Child Care Worker

o Knowledge with licensing requirements of the Child Care and Early Year’s Act.

o Current Standard First Aid / CPR Level C designation

o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

o Computer competency is required

o Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical.

o Candidates Bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration.
