We currently have an opportunity for an:

Administrative Manager

Regular Full-Time – 35 hours/week

Location: Program Office (Oakville)

Start Date: July 2, 2019

 

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Administrative Manager will report to the Director of Finance.  Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage administration of program facilities; perform site visits, oversee facility location repairs & maintenance requirements and interface with Property Manager on issues related to real estate
  • Liaison with municipalities, landlords, independent contractors and attends community meetings as needed
  • Supervise and manage staff including projects, schedules, succession planning and smart goals/performance management
  • Provide general administrative support for day-to-day operational requirements and program projects
  • On-ground program coordination support for information technology and other corporate initiatives
  • Procurement of local program purchases and interfaces with head office procurement for vendor contracts and services
  • Oversee management of client files and coordinates file audits

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Office 365, OneNote required and experience with accounting software (Great Plains) would be an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills and experience managing people
  • Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience
  • Completion of community college diploma required
  • IFMA – Facility Management certification, or equivalent would be an asset
  • Holds a valid Ontario's driver's license and owns a reliable vehicle
